Pinocchio ... face of friendship Italy - Senegal

 

In Florence, Thursday January 19 at 17 - in the Church di San Jacopo in Campo Corbolini - Via Faenza, 43  -  took place the event  of solidarity and integration, promoted and organized by the Cultural Association Pinocchio by Carlo Lorenzini, in favor of the Senegalese Community for the tragic events that took place in December  in the District of San Lorenzo.
It was an opportunity to bring together young and old, Senegalese and Italian, in a peaceful atmosphere and to activate a voluntary  fundraising to help the families  of SAMB MODOU & DIOP MOR.

The performance "FLORENCE QUEEN OF PEACE" by NDIAWWAR e BELTRANDO and the Concert of "SMALL CHOIR POMEGRANATE", with the presence of forty children, presented by President MARIO PICCIOLI, were highly appreciated.
The evening continued with an exclusive screening of the animated feature "A NAME OF PINOCCHIO PUPPET" completely restored (1972) introduced by the author GIULIANO CENCI recently rediscovered after twenty years away from the screens and it was offered a snack Pinocchio.

Pinocchio's face that joins the two tricolor flags is realized by Gabriele Maselli and painted by Barbara Bersellini
