Pinocchio celebrates 133 anni


In Florence Monday, July 7, 2014 we celebrated the Birthday of Pinocchio with a day full of events, with the participation of the Institutions and with great enthusiasm of the audience.
The event "PINOCCHIO TURNS 133 YEARS" had the patronage of the City of Florence, the support of the National Central Library of Florence and was organized and sponsored by the Association Pinocchio by Carlo Lorenzini.
The celebratory event began at 9:30 am paying homage to the birthplace of Carlo Lorenzini in Via Taddea, 21 - at the presence of Councilor of the Tuscan Region Nicola Nascosti and the European delegation - and continued with a visit to the "FLASH ART WORKSHOP" by Caterina Balletti, Master Pinocchio Forum, in Via dell’Amorino, 12r.
At eleven, in the National Library, it was presented the book "PINOCCHIO M PERUGINO" by Sandro Allegrini, Morlacchi publisher, with exhibition of drawings by Claudio Ferracci.
The Director of BNCF, Maria Letizia Sebastiani, gave the opening speech followed by the reflections of the literary critic Prof. Claudio Brancaleoni and clarification of the author. The conclusions of the morning have been taken by the President of the Association Pinocchio by Carlo Lorenzini, Hon Monica Baldi. Great fun for the audience has resulted because of the show in Perugian with Gian Franco Zampetti, Leandro Corbucci, Valentina Chiatti e Fausta Bennati.
At fifteen in the Hall Dugento, in Palazzo Vecchio - during the opening session of the City Council – it was given to the President Caterina Biti a significant work art of the Master Caterina Balletti (representing Geppetto builds Pinocchio) by the delegation "Pinocchio Forum". Also to represent, on the occasion of the Italian Presidency of the European Union, the European two-year project Pinocchio Forum (Grundtvig - Lifelong Learning) that is successfully completed.
In the afternoon, at four o'clock, in the church of San Jacopo Campo Corbolini - in Via Faenza, 43 - the debate: "PINOCCHIO FORUM BETWEEN RIGHTS AND DUTIES .... " has attracted particular interest due to the presence of the Councilor for the Environment and Urban Decor of the City of Florence, Alessia Bettini; Angela Miniati - Head of Unit for Research and Analysis Erasmus+ /National Agency LLP/ EU; Justyna Limon - President International College Sp Z.O.O. – Poland; Anna Pompei Ruedeberg - Representative of Amiata Arte – Switzerland; Paolo Piana - Senior Project Officer Llanelli Multicultural Network - United Kingdom and Hon Monica Baldi - President Association of Pinocchio by Carlo Lorenzini – Italy. Much applauded was the performance "ENOPINOCCHIO" with the technique ENOART executed by Elisabetta Rogai accompanied by some notes of the flute by Maestro Andrea Ceccomori who presented the next cultural event "ASSISI SACRED SOUND".
The day ended with a toast / dinner at Antica Pasticceria Sieni organized by Andreina Mancini, Master Pastry Chef in the European project "Pinocchio Forum".
<A 133 years since the birth of Pinocchio we propose to join the project "ONE HUNDRED STREETS FOR PINOCCHIO" to spread in society, the ideals and values ??of Carlo Lorenzini and to enhance the metaphor that Pinocchio is a symbol of the positive redemption of the individual. It means to celebrate Pinocchio and its author in the same way over the past years on the anniversary of the publication "the story of a puppet" in the "Journal for Children" took place in Florence, July 7, 1881.> Declared the Hon Monica Baldi
